I was born on April 16, 1980 by the Baltic Sea in Gdynia. In 2003.

I started my education at the National Film School in Łódź in the field of Film and Television Image Production at the Cinematography Department. I completed these studies with a bachelor's degree in 2009. The lack of knowledge and the desire to work on photosensitive stock resulted in further education at the University of Silesia, Radio and Television Departament. I graduated from this faculty majoring in Film and Television Image Production and Photography in June 2013, gaining a master's degree a few years later.

I debuted with the Israeli feature film "Scaffolidng" directed by Matan Yair in 2017. This film was a succeeded in 2018 at the Jerusalem Film Festival, winning the Best Picture Award, Best Leading Male Actor Award, and a Special Mention for Cinematography.

 

Currently, I live in Warsaw, I work actively all over the world as a cinematographer serving for feature films and TV series, commercials, music videos as well as documentaries and short films.

 

I was honored a special award founded by the Polish Film Institute and Mastershot at the Camerimage International Film Festival of Cinematography in 2012 for my work on the short narrative film "All Soul’s Day" directed by Aleksandra Terpińska. In 2015, at the same festival, I received the Golden Tadpole award for the short film "America" ​​directed by Aleksandra Terpińska. In 2019, I was nominated for the Golden Frog Award for the full-length documentary film "Long Day Tomorrow," directed by Paweł Wysoczański.
